A new series starts on Tuesday, 13th September, at 19:30 on ITV1 and ITV1 HD.
Mayday! Mayday! brings you footage from actual rescues around the UK and Ireland by the brave crews of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
This has to be a big DON’T MISS IT for all lifeboat enthusiasts – but don’t forget, you can always watch it on ITV Player for up to thrity days after airing if you do.

On the 25th June, 2011, GB5RNLI will be operational from Holker Hall to promote the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s (RNLI) Morecambe Bay Walk. Holker Hall marks the end of the walk.
Also on the 25th, GB6RNLI, will be operating from a car on the sea front at Arnside, the starting point for the sponsored walk across Morecambe Bay.
The following day, 26th June, both station’s operators move south to Stockport for the International Model Lifeboat Rally and will be operating under the GB5RNLI callsign with grateful assistance from the Southport & District Amateur Radio Club.
Please do listen out for the three stations and work them if you can on HF/VHF on the 25th and HF on the 26th.

M6PAP & G4LKW operated GB4SLB from Selsey RNLI Lifeboat Station during the weekend of 4/5th June 2011 to celebrate the station’s 150 anniversary.

“I just want to say thank you to everyone that made this weekend a success, not just the team on the ground but those that called the station as well.
We arrived on-site on Friday at about 17:00 to erect the W3DZZ antenna with the feed point on a mast at 45 ft with a dual band collinear above that for 2m/70cms. read more
Following the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s Morecambe Bay Walk on the 25th June, where GB5RNLI will be based at Holker Hall (the start and finish of the walk), GB5RNLI moves south to Stockport for the International Model Lifeboat Rally on the 26th June. read more
