Organised by the Angel of the North Amateur Radio Club, in association with the South Tyneside Amateur Radio Society, this was a new event and very well organised it proived to be. Despite being a small rally the atmosphere was great, there were several regular traders at the event including LAM Communications and the Snowdonia Radio Company.

This was a pre-lauch visit for us, the main launch taking place at the National Hamfest in Newark on the 1st/2nd October. We enjoyed several good conversations with visitors and met several local lifeboat crew. Pictured is Gerrad (M3XYP) who is a member of the Sunderland Lifeboat Station who will be taking up a position on the Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society’s committee.

This was a great rally and we would like to thank the organisers for their hospitality.
