The Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society will be on the road this coming weekend as we visit Sunderland (Fog on the Tyne Rally on Saturday, 17th September) and Barnsley (Great Northern Hamfest on Sunday, 18th September). You can find us on the stand of Snowdonia Radio Company, one of our principle sponsors.
The Stafford & Districts Amateur Radio Society invited Simon from Snowdonia Radio Company to present a talk on his range of Amateur Radio Antennas last night. Being the Vice-Chairman on the Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society, and having SOS Radio Week founder David with him on five weeks work experience, Simon invited Derek to come along too to give a short talk on the Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society and SOS Radio Week.
We’d like to thank the Stafford & Districts Amateur Radio Society for a warm welcome and taking an interest in our activities and we look forward to working with you during SOS Radio Week 2012. We’re also very grateful for the donation made which will be presented to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in due course.
If you’d like the Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society to come and talk to your club then please contact us now.
Don’t forget, this coming weekend (30/31 October) is the Llandudno Rally.
Why not pop along and meet us, sign up for SOS Radio Week, join the Lifeboat Amateur Radio Society, meet some fellow members and see the extensive range of antennas on offer from one of our principal sponsors – the Snowdonia Radio Company.
Don’t miss the Lifeboat Amateur radio Society at this weekend’s National Hamfest at Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire.
Derek (G7LFC), Simon (MW0GSR) and David (M3LFC), together with other founding members will all be in attendance.
